The Eye Surgery Center of Michigan was developed by local physicians, in partnership with St. John Health, to create a state-of-the art surgical care center. Our facility services the expanding outpatient needs of the suburban Detroit area. Eye Surgery Center of Michigan meets and exceeds the highest standards required by the State of Michigan and the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.

The Eye Surgery Center of Michigan offers elective outpatient ophthalmologic surgeries and procedures. The center serves patients with board certified physicians and surgeons and is designed, equipped, and staffed exclusively for outpatient surgery.

The Latest Technologies

Our elite team of ophthalmologists uses the finest equipment and advanced technologies to perform small incision cataract and glaucoma surgeries, as well as other common outpatient procedures.

A cataract is a clouding of the normally clear crystalline lens inside the eye. It is not a film on the eye surface. Cataracts form as a natural part of the aging process. Microsurgical techniques are used to painlessly break the cataract into tiny pieces that can be removed from the eye.
